Doctor Abouzeid performs common anterior segment eye surgery, which also includes traumatology.

Depending on the needs of the patient, cataract surgery can be performed with femtosecond laser (RTS Link), the latest technological advance in cataract surgery, which allows the automation of certain stages of surgery.

In current practice, microincision and the use of ultrasound are the rule. For patients who meet certain criteria, we offer multifocal implants allowing far and near vision, as well as toric implants which correct astigmatism. For the latter, a modern implant alignment system integrated into the microscope is used, the latest technology that allows reliable positioning of intraocular implants.

Glaucoma surgery is performed using the technique of deep sclerectomy or trabeculectomy depending on the needs of each patient. The laser is also part of the care platform available, as are various latest-generation implants, useful for lowering intraocular pressure.

Surgical procedures are performed in clinics where Doctor Hana Abouzeid is accredited, depending on the patient’s place of residence and the devices necessary for the surgery performed.

Surgical procedures are performed in Geneva at Vision Clinique (link) or at Clinique La Colline (link), or at Clinique Générale-Beaulieu (link).

The operating theaters are all very recent and have state-of-the-art procedures and equipment, particularly in terms of operating microscopes, allowing surgery in the best safety conditions for both the operator and the patient.
